The Irving Advisory Group is a group of 14 parents in Boston Public Schools who are working with the Principals and staff of the 7 Roslindale schools to create a better educational pathway for the children who attend the Roslindale schools.

The Irving
The Mozart
The Philbrick
The Sumner
The children who attend these schools do NOT all come from Roslindale! In fact, they come from all over the city of Boston, most from the West Zone, one of the 3 school assignment zones in BPS.
The goals of the Irving Advisory Group are to work collaboratively with each other and within our school communities:
to make the Roslindale K-8 pathway work as smoothly as possible
to support and continue the improvements at the Irving Middle School and the six K-5 Roslindale schools
to obtain funding for Expanded Learning Time (ELT) at the Irving Middle School
to increase parent involvement within all of the Roslindale schools
to work with Boston Public Schools' and Boston City officials
to work with other parent and community groups to form partnerships with our schools as well as within BPS to the benefit of all involved
